Aleksandra Ratkovic

Registered Speech Language Pathologist

Aleksandra Ratkovic is a Speech-Language Pathologist committed to supporting children by providing services that build confidence and strengthen communication skills. She holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta, and is a member of both the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).

Her clinical experience includes working in pediatric rehabilitation clinics and public school settings, where she worked closely with children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She has received extensive clinical training and experience with a wide range of speech, language and communication challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental language disorder (DLD), speech sound disorder and fluency.

Aleksandra’s clinical interests include social communication, narrative language, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is especially passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practices, and finding ways to facilitate communication based on each child’s individual strengths and needs.

When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her enjoying time with her friends and family, and exploring new trails with her dog.
