Registered Speech Language Pathologist

Jennifer Chen holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).

Jennifer has received clinical training in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, private practice, rehabilitation, and schools. She has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech sound disorders, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), and other communication challenges. Her main areas of clinical interest include literacy, social communication, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 

She is passionate about providing therapy through a neurodiversity-affirming, family-centred, and play-based lens. Jennifer speaks English and Mandarin. 

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys baking, creating art, exploring new cafés with friends, and trying out new hobbies.
