Mia Bottrill

Registered Speech Language Pathologist

Mia is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who completed her Bachelor degree in Speech Sciences at The University of British Columbia before moving to Australia to purse her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Queensland. After living in Australia for four years, Mia returned to her hometown of Vancouver to continue her passion working with children. 

She is a registered member of the College of Care and Health Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).

Mia has experience working across a variety of settings, including public schools, pediatric rehabilitation hospitals, and private practice. Her clinical interests include Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), speech sound disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She also has experience supporting children with feeding needs. Mia is certified in Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program and in Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display (PODD).

Outside of work, Mia is passionate about staying active, often running and spending quality time with friends and family.
